Taylor’s Wardrobe Malfunction

Taylor Swift gave fans more of a show than she had planned for during her Saturday Speak Now tour stop in St. Louis. She was in the middle of performing, “You Belong With Me,” when she walked too close to a wind machine and the flouncy skirt of her dress blew completely up, exposing the underwear she was fortunately wearing that night!

Being the pro that she is, Taylor carried on without missing a beat. She heads to Canada later this week for shows on Thursday and Friday in Edmonton, Alberta.

Despite the endless internet ridicule, Rebecca Black’s single “Friday” has cracked the iTunes Top 100. As of Thursday afternoon, the single was sitting at number 54 on the chart and has about 16 million hits on Youtube. The 13-year-old’s swift ascent to fame began after Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 blog posted the video under the title, “Songwriting Isn’t For Everyone.” The mocking stems from lyrics like, “Tomorrow is Saturday/And Sunday comes afterwards.”

Charlie Sheen will reportedly pocket $300,000 from the first two shows of his tour alone. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the Detroit and Chicago gigs are paying off so well because he chose mid-range venues and didn’t have to pay marketing costs. The shows sold out in 18 minutes.

Lady Gaga’s song “Born This Way” has been censored in Malaysia because its lyrics promote acceptance of gay people. The mostly Muslim nation has censored the line, “No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I’m on the right track baby.”

AMP Radio Networks, Malaysia’s top private radio company, explains that those words could be considered offensive in Malaysian society. The Network said, “The issue of being gay, lesbian or bisexual is still considered as a taboo by general Malaysians.”

Charlie Sheen is anxious to get back to work on Two and a Half Men — and he’s angry that the show isn’t ready to start back up quite yet. When asked about widespread reports that the show is on hiatus due to his addiction treatment, Charlie told a radio host, “No, we’re on forced hiatus. They said you get ready, we’ll get ready. And I got ready and went back and nobody’s there.”
Charlie admitted that the show went dark so that he could recover, but he said, “They didn’t think it was going to happen this fast. I heal really quickly, but I also unravel pretty quickly, so get me right now, guys. Get me right now!”

According to the police report, Lindsay’s assistant told cops, “Ms. Lohan was in possession of the necklace and wanted to give the necklace back to the store the day after she took it from the store, but she was very busy.”

Jessica Simpson is gracing the cover of this week’s New York Magazine because of her growing fame as a fashion mogul. We’ve all seen her playing up her silliness in commercials for Macy’s but The Jessica Simpson Collection is serious business — reportedly on track to make $1 billion in sales this year. Simpson’s manager explained, “A girl could go to the shopping mall with her mother and she’d have a great new outfit and still have some money left for lunch at McDonald’s. She can look like Jessica Simpson, smell like Jessica Simpson, and she can afford it.”

Taylor Swift has done some growing up in the last couple years. She developed a reputation for taking aim at her exes in songs, but these days things are different. Take, for example, Taylor’s current hit, “Back To December.” It’s Taylor’s I-did-you-wrong, please-forgive-me message to one of her exes — reportedly Taylor Lautner — whom she dumped.
