Lance Bass might be trying to make a boy band comeback — with a whole new group of boys. The former N’Sync singer posted a video to his Twitter account saying, “Check out this sweet new band.” The band is a group of five guys called Heart2Heart. Lance is in the video. The groups first single is called, “Facebook Official.”
The video hit the web this week and it is getting a lot of attention because people are unsure if it is serious or if it is supposed to be a parody.
Weird Al Yankovic has demonstrated that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The parody pop star has released his latest video for his Lady Gaga inspired parody “Perform This Way.”
So if you’re not a fan of SNL, you may not have heard of Lonely Island, yet…But then again, if you spend much time on YouTube you may have seen some of their other videos.
Lonely Island is a comedy group, headed by Andy Samberg, and two of the writers from SNL: Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone.
They’ve just put out their second album Turtleneck & Chain, and it’s got some great tracks on it…this is one of my favourites.
***Disclaimer: yeah, there’s some bad language…so young ears be warned! ***
There’s been a lot of mixed feelings about Lady Gaga’s new song, ‘Judas.’
The music video is set to be released next week on American Idol and apparently in the video Gaga will play Mary Magdalene with Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) playing the part of Judas. Gaga is also set to perform ‘Judas’ on Ellen this Thursday for the first time. Check it out!
