Don’t Forget the Lyrics..

I guess this just goes to show celebrities are human afterall..

Will.I.Am is known to be a big fan of technology — so it’s no surprise that a smartphone came to his aid at a recent performance. The Black Eyes Peas member almost flubbed his lines during a taped performance of “Don’t Stop the Party” on the French television show, Taratata. Luckily, Will used his phone to read the lyrics.

Taylor Swift is a four-time GRAMMY winner, the top-selling digital artist in music history, has had singles top both the Country and Pop radio charts, and had the #1 best-selling album in any genre of music in 2009.

Taylor, whose career record sales now top 20 million albums and 33 million song downloads, currently holds the Billboard all-genre records for most first-week downloads by a female artist, for the longest charting album of this century and for most Top 20 debuts in a calendar year, as well as the Billboard record for the largest overall airplay audience for a country-based act.

Durbin For The Win?!

James Durbin – I’ll Be There For You

I have fallen victim to the American Idol craze. When I first heard Steven Tyler was casted as a judge – I just had to watch…

Now I could go on and on and on about American Idol and all the talent this season has to offer…OR I could just play you a song that justifies who I think is the BEST contestant on the show and will go on to have a stellar recording career….Yeaaaah, I like the second option better.

Check out James Durbins cover of “Bon Jovi’s – I’ll be There For You” as performed on the TOP 12 show, two months back.

James will compete in American Idol’s TOP 5 tomorrow night at 8pm on FOX.

As always, let me know what you think! Email me: ryan@1049JRfm.com

Addicted to Adele

Adele’s Rolling in the Deep has quickly become a heavy favourite on my iTune’s list.

If you are unfamiliar with Adele, her vocals have been described as having “a hint of Wanda Jackson’s dirty-blues growl”.

Adele has been around for a few years now and is finally starting to hit North American Music Charts with her new single “Rolling in the Deep”.

But did you know?…In 2009, Adele won two  Grammy Awards! One for “Best New Artist” and another for “Best Female Pop Vocal performance”.

Rolling in the Deep peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and continues to top the charts worldwide!

What do you think of this song? Let me know, email me! ryan@1049JRfm.com

You can hear Rolling in the Deep on the airwaves of 104.9 JRfm!
