Super star Lady Gaga had an on-again off-again relationship with her now ex-boyfriend Luc Carl for most of the year. They initially broke up in May but briefly reconciled over the summer. By September, the relationship was officially over and Gaga was linked to Taylor Kinney. The relationship started when the Vampire Diaries actor starred as Gaga’s love interest in her “You & I” video. Now the couple has gone public as they were recently photographed for the first time publicly in California.
Russell Brand fueled divorce rumors on Thursday after he was photographed in London — without his wedding ring. Divorce rumors have been swirling around the comedian and his wife of one year, Katy Perry. Although the couple denied split reports in recent months, they’ve been conspicuously silent over the past week. The rumors kicked into high gear after Russell and Katy spend Christmas apart. Perry has been vacationing in Hawaii, while Russell spent the holiday in London.

Lady Gaga will be celebrating Christmas in Japan this year. She told MTV that she will be celebrating with her Little Monsters there. Gaga said, “Well I’ll be in Japan right up until Christmas day. So I’ll be eating with all my Japanese Little Monsters. I like shabu shabu.”
She will, however, return to the states in time to perform at the 40th annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Other performers include: Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, LMFAO and Florence and the Machine. Ryan Seacrest will host with Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.
Demi Moore is producing a new talk show that will “empower women.” The New York Daily News reported that Moore is launching The Conversation beginning on Lifetime next month.
Lady Gaga hopes to play Amy Winehouse in an upcoming movie about the late singer’s life. According to U.K. tabloid Daily Star, Lady Gaga wants to play Amy and thinks that this will be the perfect role to launch her into the acting world.
A source said, “Lady Gaga worshipped Amy and would love nothing more than to transform herself into her idol on the big screen. She’d be spot on performing Amy’s songs and has got the right look and bolshy attitude. Gaga’s been itching to make the transition from music into movies and sees this as the ideal role to launch her film career. Gaga’s management team had been discussing possible film ventures before Amy’s untimely death. But there’s only ever been one role she wants and that’s to play Amy.”
Lady Gaga was particuliarly grief stricken by the news of Amy’s death. The singer had admitted that she was so sad about Amy’s death that she could not speak for 48 hours. Gaga also mentioned that Amy held a particuliar place in her heart since when she was starting out she was often mistaken for Amy.
Apparently Lady Gaga’s 2010 MTV Video Music Awards meat dress ensemble started to rot so the taxidermist in change of preserving it had quite a mess on his hands. According to the Los Angeles Times, Sergio Vigilato was in charge of preserving the meat dress for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame — however, when he took the beef gown out of the freezer to defrost the dress actually stunk up his workshop.
Sergio said, “The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame had already paid me upfront – $6,000 – so I went ahead with it.”
Vigilato said it took a month to clean, cure and preserve the gown so it could be displayed at the Cleveland, Ohio museum.
Lady Gaga is reportedly being sued for scamming a Japan relief charity. According to Gossip Cop, Lady Gaga said that all proceeds from the sale of the “We Pray For Japan” wristbands were going to the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. However, according to a Michigan law firm — that’s not the case.
1-800-Law Firm is suing Lady Gaga, saying that she sold the bracelets for $5, plus $3.99 for shipping and handling, and 6- cents for taxes — but increased the price of shipping costs in an effort to pocket the extra money. The law firm says that they are suing just to make sure that the money goes where it belongs.
