Regis Philbin is making a few headlines before he leaves Live! next month. During Thursday’s show, the 80-year-old stripped off his shirt during a segment with Snooki. After the Jersey Shore star presented Regis and Kelly with some gifts, she suggested Regis take his shirt off to look more like a Guido — so he did!

Lindsay Lohan is not dropping her last name. Despite widespread reports – supposedly coming from the starlet’s mother – Lindsay’s rep said that the starlet isn’t getting rid of ‘Lohan’ to distance herself from her father. The rep released a statement saying, “Lindsay Lohan has not changed her name. It remains Lindsay Lohan.”
Steve-O was arrested in Canada on Sunday for an incident that occurred eight years ago.TMZ.com reported that the Jackass star was stopped at customs when officials noticed a warrant for his arrest, which was issued in 2003. He is accused of attacking an unidentified person with an unknown object. Steve-O was released on $10,000 bail – which he paid in cash – and ordered to return to court in May.
Prince William’s bachelor party was held over the weekend. Royal officials confirmed that the ‘stag party’ has taken place, but they didn’t provide any details. The Daily Telegraph speculated that William and about 20 friends headed to a country house in Norfolk, England for a weekend party that centered around water sports. William’s brother Harry was reportedly responsible for organizing the event.
Will Ferrell has been teasing reporters that his guest stint on The Office could turn into a full-time job. He told the New York Daily News, “That’s a very distinct possibility. It’s looking good!” He told another reporter, “Yes, I’m taking over. My character’s name is Deangelo Vickers, he loves the American Southwest, and he’s just kind of in his own way going to step into Michael Scott’s shoes and try to fill them. I’m friends with Steve and a fan of the show, and I just selfishly wanted to do one episode with him, and they pitched multiple ones, and I said, ‘That’d be great.’”
The Jersey Shore cast shouldn’t expect a warm welcome when they arrive in Italy to begin filming the fourth season of their MTV hit. The reality show recently started airing in Italy – and has been met with outrage. Columnist Roberto Del Bove wrote in New Notzie newspaper, “They embody the worst stereotypes of Italians, multiplied by thousands and Americanized.”
The family of Madonna’s adopted Malawian daughter, Mercy, is threatening to take legal action against the singer. The family claims that Madonna has broken her promise to let them see the girl. They say they were guaranteed regular contact with Mercy James, now five, when she was adopted from an orphanage in June 2009, however the Daily Mail reports that they have not seen her since.
Justin Bieber was everywhere this weekend! The pop star made appearances on Late Night with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live — and appeared in a Best Buy commercial during the Super Bowl.
The singer underwent a complete makeover for the Best Buy spot — looking years older with a beard and mustache while sporting a t-shirt of his likeness. When Ozzy Osbourne asked “What’s a Bieber,” Justin responded, “I don’t know. It kind of looks like a girl.”
On Letterman, Justin did a ‘Top 10 Reason It’s Great to Be Justin Bieber’ — complete with hair-flip. He also got behind the drums and joined his “idol” Paul Schafer for some tunes.
On SNL he stopped by for two segments. Bieber did a skit with host Dana Carvey, in which the comedian reprised his role of “Church Lady” and flirted with the Biebs. Bieber also did a digital short with Andy Samberg, in which the pair mocked The Roommate.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is planning his post-Jersey Shore life. Even though the reality show is bigger 
than ever in its third season, The Situation isn’t planning on sticking around Seaside Heights. He told E! News that he plans to remain on the MTV hit for “another year or so” before solely focusing on a big screen career. In fact, he said, “Hopefully by the end of the year I’ll be in a movie.”
As for the future of Jersey Shore, he said, “It’s like Michael Jordan. There’s only so long you can keep winning them rings. There’s only so long you can rule the reality world.”
WEEKEND BOX OFFICE
The Roommate topped a slow box office weekend, taking in $15.6 million. The college thriller stars Leighton Meester as a freshman who becomes obsessed with her roommate, played by Minka Kelly.
James Cameron’s 3D underwater cave thriller Sanctum, debuted in second place with $9.2 million. Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher’s romantic comedy, No Strings Attached, Oscar front-runner The King’s Speech and The Green Hornet rounded out the top five.
Last week’s number one, The Rite, fell to sixth place with $5.6 million.
Well this is definitely an odd pairing.. Justin Bieber is expected to star in a Super Bowl TV commercial for Best Buy with none other than… Ozzy Osbourne!! Details are scarce, but according to USA Today, the 30-spot is expected to run during the third quarter of the game on February 6th.
Last year, Jessica Simpson thought she put a never-released 2005 exercise video to rest. But the battle over the banned footage is stirring up once again. According to RadarOnline.com, Simpson’s five-year-old video for Speedfit is now in the hands of a new owner, Ed Meyer, who plans to challenge legal rulings prohibiting its release. Meyer’s hope is to re-edit the video and distribute it from California. He argues her weight would not have gone up and down over the 
years if she had followed the system featured on the video.
On that topic, Khloe Kardashian says her weight is her “biggest lifetime struggle.”
The reality star, who frequently is the subject of pregnancy rumors and mean-spirited comparisons to her sisters, said on her blog, “I think my weight is my biggest lifetime struggle. My weight is always 
going up and down. I’m always fighting that.”
Shakira is the latest artist to hit one billion views on YouTube, following in the footsteps of Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. Shakria’s 2010 World Cup anthem ‘Waka Waka (This Time For Africa)” helped the Colombian singer reach the milestone, raking in around 300 million hits on her official YouTube 
channel alone. A live version from the World Cup opening ceremony attracted 30 million, and a Spanish language rendition received nearly 40 million views.
Will Ferrell has committed to a four-episode arc on NBC’s comedy The Office. He will play a branch manager who comes from the home office and is just as inappropriate as Steve Carell’s Michael Scott character.
Jersey Shore star Pauly D thinks that the upcoming season in Italy will be “fun” — but he has some concerns when it comes to GTL. He told MTV.com, “I’m nervous, I’m not gonna lie. I don’t know what gyms are like over there, I don’t know what tanning’s like, I don’t know the food, and the language – I don’t even speak Italian. Maybe I should get a Rosetta Stone or something. And they got some nice clubs out there, and the women . . . they’re real Italian women, you know? Since I don’t speak the language, I don’t know how I’m going to talk with them. I’m hoping the smile does the trick. The less words the better. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
Jimmy Buffet fell off stage on Wednesday following his concert at Sydney, Australia’s ‘s Hordern Pavilion. Buffet was rushed to Sydney’s St. Vincent’s Hospital. An audience member stated that it appeared as though Jimmy Buffet had sustained a head injury and was bleeding from his head.
An update on Buffet’s condition was posted on his official site, margaritaville.com , stating: “Jimmy has been released from the hospital and is doing well.“
Jersey Shore is heading to Italy for season four. MTV confirmed the news, saying, “Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us. The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by. We can’t wait to see what erupts as a result.”
However, not everyone is excited about the news; UNICO – a large Italian American interest group – released a statement blasting MTV’s decision. They said, “It will not only hurt Italians but all Americans . . . their outrageous, reprehensible behavior will make us look like buffoons 
and bimbos.”
Kelsey Grammer isn’t the only one in the family planning a wedding: his 27-year-old daughter Spencer is also engaged. Life & Style reported that Spencer announced her engagement six weeks after her father told the world that he’s tying the knot with 29-year-old Kayte Walsh.
Reports say that Oprah Winfrey’s new half-sister Patricia turned down an offer from a tabloid magazine to expose the truth. According to Popeater.com, an insider said, “All Patricia wanted was the truth. She wasn’t interested in selling her story even for a million dollars. She just wanted to know who she was, where she came from and if she had any brothers or sisters. She had no idea when she started this search she would end up being Oprah Winfrey’s half-sister.”
The source added, “No one knows what the future holds for the family. Patricia doesn’t want a dime from Oprah and certainly wasn’t going to take money from a tabloid whose offers are now pouring in.”
There’s apparently a James Franco sex tape floating around somewhere. The actor made the revelation during an Oscar roundtable with Newsweek after he was asked, “Is there a secret to landing a good kiss?”
The actor likened an on screen kiss to a sex tape, explaining, “Anybody who has made a home sex tape knows what feels best doesn’t always look best. I remember when I was 19 doing that, and then watching it back and thinking, ‘Oh, that looks horrible.’ So you have a lot of respect for those actors in pornography, because they are really not just doing it, they’re really selling it!”
