Lady Gaga will be celebrating Christmas in Japan this year. She told MTV that she will be celebrating with her Little Monsters there. Gaga said, “Well I’ll be in Japan right up until Christmas day. So I’ll be eating with all my Japanese Little Monsters. I like shabu shabu.”
She will, however, return to the states in time to perform at the 40th annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Other performers include: Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, LMFAO and Florence and the Machine. Ryan Seacrest will host with Fergie and Jenny McCarthy.

Demi Moore is producing a new talk show that will “empower women.” The New York Daily News reported that Moore is launching The Conversation beginning on Lifetime next month.

The first pictures of Jennifer Lopez, 42 and her reported new boyfriend, backup dancer, Casper Smart, 24, have emerged. According to TMZ, Lopez and Smart were just friends in this picture but their relationship has progressed.. Hmmm, what do you think of all these stars dating younger men/women!?

Update: Ryan Dunn

After much speculation, it has been confirmed by police that Jackass star Ryan Dunn was drunk when he crashed his Porsche going 140 mph on a Pennsylvania highway.

 According to the autopsy report, 34-year-old Dunn and his friend, Zachary Hartwell, 30, both suffered “blunt and thermal trauma” in the accident.

Prior to the night’s horrific end, the two men had been in a bar drinking. Authorities are saying that Dunn’s blood alcohol concentration was at 0.196 percent, while the legal state limit is 0.08.

Holywood Insiders Sued for Illegal Underground Gambling Ring

Luck has run out for Spider-Man actor Tobey Maguire. Star magazine reports that Maguire and a dozen other Hollywood insiders are being sued for their involvement in illegal, multi-million dollar poker games.

Maguire reportedly won more than $300,000 in the underground California gambling ring from a Beverly Hills hedge fund manager who allegedly performed embezzlement and a Ponzi scheme. Star also claims that Maguire won as much as one million over a period of three years.

Mega-stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon also reportedly played in the Texas Hold ‘em games, which had a buy-in of $100,000, but are not being sued.

Belleville Native in the Running to Become “TigerBloodIntern”

A former Belleville resident says he feels like he’s already “winning” after making it into the final 50 candidates to become actor Charlie Sheen’s social media intern.

Twenty-two-year-old Phil Pallen got the news yesterday that he’s made it into round four of the competition to work for the fired “Two and a Half Men” star this summer.

Pallen is now living in Florida where he is finishing his masters degree in digital marketing in the entertainment business.

More than 82-thousand people from 181 countries applied to work with the embattled T-V star and handle his social media musings as his “TigerBloodIntern!”

Despite the endless internet ridicule, Rebecca Black’s single “Friday” has cracked the iTunes Top 100. As of Thursday afternoon, the single was sitting at number 54 on the chart and has about 16 million hits on Youtube. The 13-year-old’s swift ascent to fame began after Comedy Central’s Tosh.0 blog posted the video under the title, “Songwriting Isn’t For Everyone.” The mocking stems from lyrics like, “Tomorrow is Saturday/And Sunday comes afterwards.”

Charlie Sheen will reportedly pocket $300,000 from the first two shows of his tour alone. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the Detroit and Chicago gigs are paying off so well because he chose mid-range venues and didn’t have to pay marketing costs. The shows sold out in 18 minutes.

Lady Gaga’s song “Born This Way” has been censored in Malaysia because its lyrics promote acceptance of gay people. The mostly Muslim nation has censored the line, “No matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life, I’m on the right track baby.”

 AMP Radio Networks, Malaysia’s top private radio company, explains that those words could be considered offensive in Malaysian society. The Network said, “The issue of being gay, lesbian or bisexual is still considered as a taboo by general Malaysians.”

Taylor Swift will voice a character in the upcoming 3D animated Dr. Seuss movie The Lorax. Taylor will play Audrey, the dream girl of a young boy named Ted, voiced by Zac Efron. Other famous voices cast in The Lorax are Danny DeVito, Betty White, Ed Helms and Rob Riggle. The film is set for release in March of 2012.
